The 2018 Farm Bill legalized Hemp and CBD Nationwide.  Unfortunately, the Federal Government has dropped the ball on finishing the work that needs to be done to regulated the industry.  Until this is done, it is very hard for Hemp Farmers to get merchant accounts to process credit cards.  New York Ag and Markets has been great, but without federal legislation and guidelines, most banks are unwilling to underwrite for online and credit card transactions.  PayPal shut us down when we became a hemp farm.  We are working on a solution and hope to have big news by the middle of September 2020
